Everybody has his own tastes and preferences. You must make your own
choices based on yours. Fortunately there are choices available, unlike
what Microsfot prefers.

I use Firefox.

Firefox also features those "web shortcuts". You add a bookmark
and give it a "keyword". In the URL, you've got to place a %s
where you wish the text to be inserted.

URL http://www.google.de/search?q=%s
Keyword g

In address bar, enter "g foo bar" and you'll go to
http://www.google.de/search?q=foo+bar

Reading comprehension is really important here. The .sig in question
compares arguing to mud wrestling.

Pigs like mud, engineers like arguing. How's that controversial?

If you concluded that David is saying that engineers like mud wrestling,
you really need to get some sleep.

And if you found that offensive, wait till you read his
lotteries-are-a-tax-on-... sig :-)

Oh rock and roll!!!!
Thanks for this info - I thought Konqy was the only browser with some sense!
Glad that Firefox has it too!

Now, if Firefox could just run (nearly) as fast as Konqy!

Nope. Internet Explorer also has this feature. I'm not too sure
about Opera though - I'd wonder, if Opera would lack this feature.

I dislike Gnome, so I use Konqueror, but strictly for Linux work. For
Web work I tend to use Firefox. Konqueror is ugly, but so is most GUI in
Linux ;-)
