Default Linux display problem...

For some mysterious reason, I can't login my Linux with X11 environment any more.
The display only shows the text based version.

The following is the error message I got. Anyone has any idea? Thanks.

A large log file. Can you get to X11 with the Startx command? If you
have another user can that user logon to the X11 environment? Have you
tried after a reboot to Linux? Common mistake is the runlevel changes.
