In GUI environments, I generally arrange windows such that I can see the useful areas of 4 or 5 windows at once. I only use maximized windows when I'm using a computer to play movies or games, since modern life requires multitasking and multiprocessing. VDs for mozzy and kview, quanta, and gimp. Maybe someday I can do multi-gui's on one screen. A big ol' flat panel or projector..... nb |
