install RH enterprise 4

can any body tell me as to what is free dos . and How i can install
RH enterprise 4 over it.

Freedos is just what the name says, a free MS-DOS workalike.

Do you want to get rid of freedos, or install RH as a dual-boot? Either
way, just boot the RH CDROM or DVD and follow the instructions.

If you are installing Red Hat Enterprise Linux, why not install Enterprise
Linux 5, since it has been out for quite some time already? If you have a
license for RHEL4, you can upgrade to RHEL5 for free. In fact there have
been enough updates on RHEL5 that the latest version seems to be called RHEL
5.1.
