Gnome Wx applets broken?

The Gnome Weather Report 2.16.0.1 applets aren't working anymore, as of
Saturday; they just display a "?" and "Updating ...".

Does anyone else have this failure, or know of a way to repair it please?
All other network applications are working properly here.
