when I loging to ftp server from my linux box,

"KERBEROS_V4 rejected as an authentication type"

I canse above message...
I'd like to know whre this message comming from?
how can I get rid of it? ( how can I not to display? )

Its not hurting anything, first of all. It has to do with how your
particular ftpd server was compiled along with authentication
mechanisms used on your server.

I suppose you could recompile your ftpd server by hand, and NOT
configure in any kerberos options.
