faxrunqd problem

I'm using faxrunqd on RH 7.2 and sending faxes with faxspool and the modem
is a MultiTech.

When sending faxes, more often than not the faxes will show failed in the
log and resend. This will happen 3 times as is set in the configuration
file, however the faxes actually do go successfully and the client reports
getting the faxes.... all 3 times.

Has anyone exprienced this and have a solution?

Had the same problem with HylaFax. I suspect it is caused by the
underlying sendfax program not handnling a response code properly. I
don't send enough faxes to worry about it however.
