Friends, I am desperately looking for the following tutorial or its
equivalent, In any form pdf, html or avi etc. Unfortunately, I did not get a course in French or German in school. > TD3: Recovering from Hard Drive Disasters by Theodore Ts'o It is apparent that there is money that has prevented such quality tutorials to be unavailable to users of linux under various guises. For example, http://conferences.oreillynet.com/cs...ew/e_spkr/1527 http://www.geekcruises.com/seminar/ll4_seminar.htm If you know a practical book, howto etc for a user to learn filesystem and how to apply the command, some diagrams to show the conceptual geometry of the filesystem and so on, please drop a post and email, because i dont read this group often. Thanks for your generosities. a linux lover Please note that I am trying to recover from an ext2 filesystem crash. As many docs, especially exact link will be appreciated and will not only help me but many other people. I will in the end post a more comprehensive article or submit a mini-howto with theory and practice so that people can benefit from it and also remember it, which is not possible without theory and pictorial exposition. |
