I'm real close to a solution, but I could use one last bit of advice
WRT being able to get the default Fedora GUI "DESKTOP" popped back to my home PC running Windoze. I use Secure-CRT to SHH into the Fedora box with X11 forwarding enabled. I am running Exceed on the PC. I can successfully invoke xclock & similar utilities on the Linux box and get the display on my home PC. YEA! I could use a clue or two on exactly what I need to (setup?) and invoke to get either GNOME or the KDE "desktop" to appear on my home PC? |
