Default Cannot Boot into Red Hat Linux 7.3

Dear all,

Our linux server running RH7.3 may have been compromised. When I restart the
server, it hangs at the Loopback. Then I started in a single mode, it gives
the following comments.
1. /etc/rc.sysinit: /bin/awk Text file is busy

2. when I do the ls command, it gives Segmentation fault.

3. when I run the ifconfig -a command, I notice that the network card is in
promiscuous broadcast mode. The network card have no inet address such as
192.168.2.10 which I have set for this card. Also the loopback address
127.0.0.1 doesn't appear.

What should i do? I suspect it was hacked by someone, or would you suggest
any scanning program for me?

Thanks, thanks.

Regards,

Tabootest
