Don't know why you are asking here, but someone on comp.cad.solidworks had

Whenever I update lilo in the linux partition, I can no longer boot into linux using the win2k bootloader. I have tried creating a new bootsect.lnx, but it doesn't seem to matter. Nor does writing a new boot.ini. I have heard that win2k is married to it's disk, but I don't know about XP. The partitions themselves have not changed. Perhaps XP notices *any* change to the drive, and being suspicious, worms things up. Michael |
