It's not that ipfilter doesn't support it, it's that the way Sun does virtual interfaces, there's nothing to filter. Sun doesn't make another interface in the kernel - it's just a convenient marker for other IPs. Simply filter on the IP at hand. -- Phil Dibowitz phil@ipom.com Freeware and Technical Pages Insanity Palace of Metallica http://www.phildev.net/ http://www.ipom.com/ "They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." - Benjamin Franklin, 1759 --------------enig0E8C5113A7EE02470BFA7758 Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: OpenPGP digital signature Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.0 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFCZ9iwN5XoxaHnMrsRAtmDAJ9VUtdD+rvg83oHniZXlM bO6+3R0QCfakz6 S/x32YTkNCQum6riUHld8+Y= =qgVH -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --------------enig0E8C5113A7EE02470BFA7758-- |
