Yes that is exactly what I am getting. In my case I am connecting with SSH
using Putty and pressing Q the putty window closes.

If its the same problem I'm seeing, you run ipfstat -t, then when you
quit ipfstat you get EOF in the shell which you started ipfstat from
and that shell terminates too.
