4.1 problems

I'm still having no success with 4.1 on freebsd-stable. Every single time
I load the module, within a day the system has trouble loading web pages
with lots of images. The only fix is to unload/reload the module or go
back to 3.4 (which runs flawlessly for months on end). Is there ANY way to
get some kind of debugging output or information as to exactly why the
performance is terrible? Is there some kernel or ipfilter setting that may
be inadvertently causing the problems? I can't believe no one else is
reporting this :)
