Perhaps not, but at least it's very similar, and one (POSIX) command/kernel
call usually work on the other platforms (minus platform specifics). That's
the beauty of SVR4. Another perk is that what works in Solaris/IRIX/HP-UX
today, is more likely than not going to work tomorrow. Very few
"deprecated" and "obsolete" surprises as opposed to our Penguin friend.
