Hash: SHA1 So, I was doing some testing with my new DSL line this weekend, and I shut down ip filter: /etc/init.d/ipfboot stop. It detaches from all the interfaces, all is well. About a minute later everything stops working.... IPF reattached!!! I stop IPF again, and it doesn't kill any processes, but it does detach. But a minute later, it reattaches!! What the heck? Solaris 9 x86, IPF 3.4.31: uname -a: SunOS Knight 5.9 Generic_112234-06 i86pc i386 i86pc I ended up pkgrm'ing it while I was working, and pkgadding it when I was ~ done.
