Hello,
as far as I remember 3.4.33pre1 was a kinda hot fix addressing a serious bug on Solaris. So far there seem to be some reports about problems with 3.4.33pre1 someone faced on Solaris also. Personally I currently use 3.4.33pre1 on FreeBSD but 3.4.29 on Solaris 8 (Intel) machine, which has now been up for 97 days without any problems.
