there are two systems that I know:

http://www.enterasys.com/products/ids/NSTAM/

and the NAP-system from Microsoft, I think there is also something from
cisco available.

It should also possible to build something by yourself with nessus, at
the enterasys solution you can also use nessus-scanners.
