I have asked someone as SUSE to take a look at this as I dont have a S390 to
test on and am currently running SUSE 9.2 on my Althon64 (If I have time I
will throw SLES9 on there and take a look.) In the mean time can you see if
you can rebuild with the same options as the SUSE spec file.
The easiest way is to grab mine with:
rpm -Uvh ftp://susesecurity.com/pub/freeradiu...9.suse.src.rpm

Then:
cd /usr/src/packages/SPECS/
rpmbuild -ba freeradius.spec
