Default how to capture packet sent from own local machine

Hi, i tried to capture packets
which were sent internally (in my pc), I have one listener (which
successfully listens to connected tcp connections) and a client which
sends packets to the listener.
the sending and listening process is successful. I can tell this for
sure.

I am trying to snif this transaction in my pc
but i only get various packets capture from my pc to other pc on the
internet and vice versa.

so guys, i will really appreciate if u can tell me, how to accomplish
this.

thanks in advance.

have a nice day.
