Default [courier-users] Using LDAP with catch-all address

I've been trying to set up the following:
Local delivery
LDAP lookup for user accounts
Catch-all account for nonexistent accounts

The problem I'm running into:
For an existing user, email is received fine.
For a nonexistent user:
LDAP lookup, checking for nonexistent user -- this fails, as it should.
LDAP lookup, checking for the catch-all user -- this succeeds, as it
should.
Mail transfer fails with 'user not found'.

...any idea how I can get this to work?
-Brian
