Hello all, I have a interesting situation here with my mail server. I use Debian Etch, Postfix, Courier Authlib (Authpam), Courier Maildrop, PAM_LDAP and NSS. I created manually the maildrop of each user, and here the quota is 100 MB.= I created with maildirmake -q 100000000S ./Maildir. Well, for some users, the quota/maildirsize doesn't work! For example: # pwd /nando/Maildir # ls -l drwxr-xr-x 2 nando mail 4096 2005-07-02 19:17 courierimaphieracl drwx------ 2 nando mail 61440 2008-04-24 06:52 courierimapkeywords -rw-r--r-- 1 nando mail 12 2008-03-23 19:28 courierimapsubscribed -rw-r--r-- 1 nando mail 1367853 2008-04-24 06:42 courierimapuiddb -rw-r--r-- 1 nando mail 304017 2007-05-14 07:40 courierpop3dsizelist drwx------ 2 nando mail 1675264 2008-04-24 06:52 cur drwx------ 6 nando mail 4096 2006-10-13 14:52 .INBOX.drafts drwx------ 6 nando mail 4096 2007-05-24 23:20 .INBOX.sent-mail -rw-r--r-- 1 nando mail 63 2008-04-24 13:53 maildirsize drwx------ 2 nando mail 20480 2008-04-24 13:53 new drwx------ 6 nando mail 4096 2005-03-30 00:12 .saved-messages drwx------ 6 nando mail 4096 2005-11-14 11:39 .sentmail drwx------ 6 nando mail 4096 2005-01-13 22:49 .sent-mail drwx------ 6 nando mail 4096 2007-05-28 08:15 .Spam drwxr-xr-x 6 nando mail 4096 2005-11-14 11:29 .SPAM drwx------ 2 nando mail 4096 2008-04-24 13:53 tmp # cat maildirsize 100000000S 7374620 110 12232 1 # du -sh * 5,0K courierimaphieracl 60K courierimapkeywords 512 courierimapsubscribed 1,4M courierimapuiddb 297K courierpop3dsizelist 5,4G cur <---!!! 512 maildirsize 3,5M new 4,0K tmp # ls -1 cur|wc -l 19098 If I send a email to this user, the email is delivery normally by maildrop.= But to some users, the quota works well. If I became "nando" by "su -" and make a test: echo "teste" | maildrop -w 90 -V 2 -d nando maildrop: authlib: groupid=3D2110 maildrop: authlib: userid=3D4412 maildrop: authlib: logname=3Dnando, home=3D/nando/, mail=3D(default) maildrop: Changing to /nando/ Message start at 0 bytes, envelope sender=3Dnando the message is delivery! cat maildirsize /nando/Maildir$ cat maildirsize 100000000S 7374620 110 12232 1 6 1 # ls -l new/ -rw------- 1 nando 2110 6 2008-04-24 14:03 1209056582.M624323P25342V0000000000000811I00000000 0E5C9DC3_0.paramana,S=3D6 My maildrop: /usr/bin/maildrop -v maildrop 2.0.2 Copyright 1998-2005 Double Precision, Inc. GDBM extensions enabled. Courier Authentication Library extension enabled. Maildir quota extension enabled. This program is distributed under the terms of the GNU General Public License. See COPYING for additional information. What could be wrong in my environment? Why maildirmake only calcs 7374620 B= and not 5,5 G? Why quota works for somes users and anothers doesn't?
