If your config enables CRAM-MD5 authentication, and you did not set up your
accounts to support CRAM-MD5 authentication, then that's your error.

There are special requirements for CRAM-MD5 authentication; specifically you
must use cleartext passwords, not encrypted passwords. See courier-authlib's
documentation.
