You are right, but it is not always possible.
I have care of >2200 mail accounts.
If, for example, one of my clients get infected by a mass mailing virus,
it's IP address get blocked by spamhaus XBL or other, and cannot send any
mail using my relay MTA.

Someone note that authenticated user's IP should not be checked for DNSBL.
Is it possible with courier esmtpd?
