Hi Steve,

you can check your setup using authtest. Also, I sugest to enable
debugging in authdaemond.
There is a good article about debugging authentication issues on the
courier homepage . Please check it.

authtest user@domain.com password

will display all user data if successful. If you set the debug option
to '2' you will also find detailed data in your systemlog.

You did set up ldap using the authldap schema didn't you?
