If you can send and recieve emails by squirrelmail/sqwebmail, then you
problem is not authmodule at all.

POP3d is for recieving emails like imap only using different clients.
SMTP is for sending emails (in all cases, at least it seems for your
configuration)

It seems like you have one of two problems: improperly configured pop3 for
recieving pop3 and using your pop3 clients or improper configuration of you=
r
pop-client.

Its almost impossible for anyone to tell you what you are doing wrong if yo=
u
do not provide adequate information such as screem shots of error and or
error logs.
