Default [courier-users] couriermlm questions

Hi,

I've setup a list with couriermlm, and setup the .courier-* aliases.

I'm confused about the interaction of maildrop when .courier files exist.
For example, I have DEFAULTDELIVERY set to "|
/usr/lib/courier/bin/maildrop", and I have both a /etc/courier/maildroprc
and a $HOME/.mailfilter files. But when mail arrives for the list, it goes
straight to .courier-listname, and does not run through the maildroprc or
..mailfilter. I have placed an echo statement inside both files and it never
gets printed out, nor any of the commands in there executed.

Also, I have one subscriber to the list:

# couriermlm lsub /home/lista/listname/
ricardo@americasnet.com (03-Mar-2006)

However, when I send a message to the list, this is what I get:

Mar 3 21:51:30 server3 courierlocal:
id=0401CCB4.44092AE2.00001178,from=<ricardo@americ asnet.com>,addr=<lista-listname@listas.americasnet.com>:
You are not subscribed to this mailing list.

In my $HOME/.courier-listname I have:

| /usr/lib/courier/bin/couriermlm msg /home/lista/listname

(where /home/lista/listname is the correct directory for the list, as seen
in the lsub command above)

So, what's wrong that I'm not recognized as a subscriber, even though lsub
says I am?

And also, does .courier prevent the running of maildrop? If I want to have
messages pass thru a .mailfilter (or the default maildroprc) prior to
through .courier, how can I do that? I want to filter messages before
sending them to the list.

Thanks
Ricardo
