[courier-users] Courier::Filter installed but not pureperlfilter

On fresh install of a RHEL 3.0 clone (perl 5.8.0, etc.),

perl -e 'use CPAN; install Courier::Filter'

installs file. test-filter-module installs to /usr/bin as expected ...
but not "pureperlfilter".
I see it in .cpan/build/Courier-Filter-0.17/bin - it just doesn't go
beyond there...
