This is a MIME GnuPG-signed message. If you see this text, it means that
your E-mail or Usenet software does not support MIME signed messages. The Internet standard for MIME PGP messages, RFC 2015, was published in 1996. To open this message correctly you will need to install E-mail or Usenet software that supports modern Internet standards. --=_mimegpg-commodore.email-scan.com-2939-1133307008-0001 Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed; charset="US-ASCII" Content-Disposition: inline Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Bruce Johnson writes: > Sam, Yes, that's me. I did'nt give a second That's strange. 'make install' should've installed the sendmail as: -r-s--x--x 1 root daemon 112397 Nov 17 21:10 /usr/lib/courier/bin/sendmail In your case you might've used the group "courier", instead of "daemon", but the userid should still be root, and the binary should have the setuid bit set. Did you run 'make install' as root; or perhaps an error occured during "install", and you missed the error message. --=_mimegpg-commodore.email-scan.com-2939-1133307008-0001 Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.7 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQBDjOSAx9p3GYHlUOIRAmOdAJ4xwOJaaYzPZJaGBjmI+j wdpfymcwCeOWiO 04SVJluZ0aVyvQxnQ48EsTE= =E9az -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --=_mimegpg-commodore.email-scan.com-2939-1133307008-0001-- ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
