[courier-users] building on solaris

Has anyone had anyluck building courier on solaris with anything other than
GCC?

So far the configure script has incorrectly tried to create shared object with
cc -shared instead of cc -G, and now tried to use /usr/ccs/bin/ld even though
I did an export LD=/usr/sfw/bin/gld before running configure.

I looked around the website, I didn't see anything that said linux only?

Any know of a 'building courier' on Solaris/cc?
