Hash: SHA1 I just installed courier-0.52.1 on a suse box which does not fam-server installed. So now I get the TONS of fam errors in the log saying that there's an error with famd. I thought that if famd wasn't installed on the machine then imapd wouldn't try and use it. Is there a way to stop this error? (Aside from installing fam-server, of course.) It's not a big deal and I can easily filter it out, but it's generating a TON on lines in log file since it fails for every account on the server. Or is there a way to compile courier without compiling in fam support? I hacked the spec file already to make it work with suse, but there doesn't seem to be any way (that I can see) to tell it not to use fam. Thanks for any advice anyone's got. Like I said, not a big deal, but it would be nice to turn this off, or suppress the errors without needing to run fam-server.
