RES: [courier-users] Courier + LDAP Auth Problem

Hi Sam,

The authentication of "testuser1" is fine, and the chdir problem was =
solved.
Only remaining problem is with mailadmin user, and others ones. When I =
ran
courierauthtest I got this error message, following:

# courierauthtest mailadmin
Trying authdaemon...
Authentication FAILED!

If I try either Administrator or nobody users I get the same error too.

I=B4m using sambaNTPassword attribute to keep user password, I need It =
for
Samba server. Maybe It is a problem???


Another doubt:

You know if is possible to set homeDirectory attribute pointing to =
another
server. I=B4ll try to be more clear. I have two servers, on the fisrt =
one is
where my Samba server resides, and user home directory should be here; =
on
the second one is my Mailserver, then Maildir should be here. To hold
Maildir path I am using mailMessageStore attribute. I made some tests =
but
doesn=B4t work well. I intend to use It, that way, because when the =
users
authenticating against LDAP directory they get all the attribute needed =
to
work on both server at same time.

You set the account's home directory attribute, or the mailbox =
attribute, to

an empty string. That's not going to do anything useful.
