What would it take to get full native SASL/GSSAPI in courier-authlib,
and in turn, courier-mta (smtp-auth), courier-imap, and possibly even have courier-webmail be able to utilize mod_auth_kerb? ( http://modauthkerb.sourceforge.net/ ) Right now, I've got a single-sign-on environment for a bunch of Linux and OSX Desktops using Kerberos, LDAP, and AFS. The only big hole is email.. OSX mail includes SASL/GSSAPI support, and there are a couple of linux mail clients that do this as well. Thanks. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Troy Benjegerdes 'da hozer' hozer@hozed.org Somone asked me why I work on this free (http://www.fsf.org/philosophy/) software stuff and not get a real job. Charles Shultz had the best answer: "Why do musicians compose symphonies and poets write poems? They do it because life wouldn't have any meaning for them if they didn't. That's why I draw cartoons. It's my life." -- Charles Shultz ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: Power Architecture Resource Center: Free content, downloads, discussions, and more. http://solutions.newsforge.com/ibmarch.tmpl _______________________________________________ courier-users mailing list courier-users@lists.sourceforge.net Unsubscribe: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/.../courier-users |
