Default [courier-users] MAXRCPT limit

Dear list,

I would like to be sure about the effect of the MAXRCPT setting inside
module.esmtp.

As per Courier's documentation I see that the MAXRCPT setting defines
the number of addresses passed to courieresmtp in each call. Does this
mean that for each SMTP session opened by courieresmtp no more than
MAXRCPT address will be dispatched?

Or putting i it n different words, if I have a message to be sent to 40
destinies (same destination domain) and have MAXRCPT=20 inside
module.esmtp there will be at least two differrent SMTP connections to
the destination MTA, each one sending to half the addresses. Is this
correct?

Thanks for your help and attention,

Rodrigo Severo
