UPDATE - Whilst using Thunderbird, if I lower the number of cached
connections to 1 this error seems to vanish and things run fine.

So my question is now, if it is connection related (which it obviously
is), is it a connection problem related to courier or OpenSSL?

And equally any suggestions on how to fix it. Everything else works
fine, even standard IMAP services.

I'm using 0.51 release and Thunderbird 1.06.
