Ok, here's the line for the user in question: (copied from /etc/courier/use= rdb): sam@foobar.com =20 home=3D/home/vmail/foobar.com/i/sam|mail=3D/home/virtual/foobar.com/i/sam|s= ystempw=3D$1$480.AZpz$ZLK.q8a2xzPH84p5lDAsg1|gid=3 D5000|uid=3D5000 ok, and here is the path itself: $ pwd /home/vmail/foobar.com/i/sam so shouldn't that work? The mysql backend works fine, just not these old accounts. i'm a little stumped (i thought maybe it was looking for the maildir in /home/vmail/foobar.com/i/sam/Maildir (i thought that's what the docs said), but if that's not the case then i am confused).
