[courier-users] trouble with defaultdomain

Hi list

I'm using courier 0.49.0 and all works fine accept one point.
Some Outlook clients sends mail to other local users without
the domain extension in the to - header. Courier rejects this mails
with the message : 513 Syntax error.
In the documentation is a notice about the file "defaultdomain" but
it doesn't work.
What can i do, that courier appends the defaultdomain?
