If that's the case, it sounds like you've configured Courier to believe
that rt.mydomain.com is local, when it's not.

Check for rt.mydomain.com in the hosteddomains and local files, and
remove it. It's OK for that domain to be in "esmtpacceptmailfor" if
Courier is listed as its MX.
