[courier-users] AIX lib magic number

Hi,

I have compiled courier-authlib with gcc-2.95.3 and libtool 2.15 on IBM
RS/6000 model F50 AIX 4.3.3. When I start the authdeamond I get this
error message:

Mar 21 19:52:46 f50 authdaemond: modules="authpwd", daemons=5
Mar 21 19:52:46 f50 authdaemond: Installing libauthpwd
Mar 21 19:52:46 f50 authdaemond: 0509-022 Cannot load module
/usr/local/lib/courier-authlib/libauthpwd.a.
Mar 21 19:52:46 f50 authdaemond: 0509-103 The module has an
invalid magic number.

What is wrong with the lib file?
