Hi,
Still using ancient courier-0.44.2-1.7.3, I'll upgrade real soon now, I promise :-) I'm having problems with HELO checks and IPv6. I receive a lot of mail over IPv6 and the only problem I had until now was with my Windows based PDA that insisted on saying 'HELO Inbox'. I whitelisted the addressspace my provider uses: :2002:c2e5 allow,BOFHCHECKHELO=0 That works hunkeydory. Now two friends want to mail me and they both cannot. One seems to have correct reverse while the other has none. The first should work, but doesn't, and I cannot white list either of them. The relevant lines: :2001:960:661:2 allow,BOFHCHECKHELO=0 :2001:838:3c6:0 allow,BOFHCHECKHELO=0 The address that has correct reverse DNS is 2001:960:661:2:240:caff:fe15:8116. It has a CNAME from ip6.int to ip6.arpa but AFAIK that should work and one should use ip6.arpa anyhow. I did run makesmtpaccess. Anyone know how to whitelist those addresses?
