I have a patch to authdaemond.c and authdaemon.c which does exactly this
as my own auth module wants to be able to reject by IP on top of username/password. I can put it somewhere if you want it. It is limited, it only passed the IP extra over and none of the other variables which could possibly be useful but nothing I really needed.
