I would like to setup Courier as a incoming MTA that checks for spam and
viruses, then forwards cleaned message to another MTA for final delivery. I have read through the man pages, and see two ways to do this. (1) define a new subdomain despamed.domain.com and point the mx record for that domain to the final MTA. then just use .dot-courier to forward the cleaned message to the new subdomain. If possible, configure the desination MTA to only accept connections from the Courier IP. (2) write a program that takes an email message on STDIN and talks SMTP to the destination MTA to send the messsage. Have I missed any options? Any experiences or recommendations for either approach? (1) seems _way_ easier.
