I decided to try building 0.47 also to see if this might be an issue with
the newer authlib code. It too dies due to stdio.h:

I just noticed that the RedHat installer put both i686 and x86-64 versions
of glibc on the system, maybe that's confusing authlib. Will try removing
the i686 (and all it's many deps, RH really needs to make a "Native arch
only" option for x86-64 for cases where you want to be 100% 64-bit).
