It too dies due to stdio.h: make[2]: Entering directory `/home/jlee/rpm/BUILD/courier-0.47/authlib' Compiling authexit.c Compiling chain.c Compiling checkpassword.c Compiling cryptpassword.c Compiling authstaticlistsearch.c In file included from authstaticlistsearch.c:9: /usr/include/stdio.h:385: error: syntax error before '&&' token make[2]: *** [authstaticlistsearch.o] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/jlee/rpm/BUILD/courier-0.47/authlib' make[1]: *** [all] Error 2 make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/jlee/rpm/BUILD/courier-0.47/authlib' make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 error: Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.85902 (%build) I just noticed that the RedHat installer put both i686 and x86-64 versions of glibc on the system, maybe that's confusing authlib. Will try removing the i686 (and all it's many deps, RH really needs to make a "Native arch only" option for x86-64 for cases where you want to be 100% 64-bit).
