As a follow up, I've reinstalled with no LVM, software RAID or NFS and
still get the build error. It also occurred to me that I tested RHEL4
beta 2 x86 not x86_64 so the issue may exist only in x86_64. I haven't
finished downloading RHEL4 final x86 yet but once I do I'll try an
rpmbuild on it also.
