[courier-users] maildrop (Courier-0.48.2)

hi,

I am unable to get maildrop to deliver mail for me. I have setup a userdb
that has the following data

test@web-test.farn-ct.ac.uk
home=/home/vmail|mail=/home/vmail/farn-ct.ac.uk/staff/xwill|uid=500|gid=500|
quota=1000000S

done a makeuserdb and have created the userdb.dat

but i get the folloing in my logs

Feb 16 19:28:10 web-test postfix/pipe[16785]: A77ED793FA:
to=<test@web-test.farn-ct.ac.uk>, relay=maildrop, delay=35, status=bounced
(user unknown. Command output: Invalid user specified. )

can anyone advise
