Well.. of course they have. SUSE's YaST can do rudimentary
configuration and static record edits.

Many of use roll our own for this type of thing.
Someday, I'd like to get mine prettied up and push
it out. I only manage my zones dynamically now.

A lot of the tools out there (e.g. YaST) assume that you
want to drop textual entries into the db (up the serial
and reload).. they don't use nsupdate.
