What's up with my looping DNS?

If this is the wrong place for this question, please advise.

We changed the nameservers on a domain registered at NetSol. Both the before and
after nameservers were third-party, not NetSol. But, after four days, it still wasn't
working.
When we did a query, we'd get stuck in some kind of loop.

Thinking it might be a problem with the third-party nameserver, we changed it to NetSol's
own managed nameservers to see what would happen. But here we are, days later, and
it's still looping.

What makes this happen? It's just a simple A record pointing to an IP address, the same
way we've set up hundreds of others without trouble. I've posted a sample of what we're
getting below. Notice how it resolves to the right nameserver, ns95.worldnic.com. But
instead of getting an answer with the IP address, it just refers back out to a root
server.
