named starts at boot. So I looked into boot messages by dmesg >
boot.messages but nothing related to bind or named there. "locate log | grep named" returns nothing. Same goes for grep bind, too... where should I look for named log messages? So I killed named and tried to start it by command: /etc/init.d/bind9 start Starting domain name service: namednamed: capset failed: Operation not permitted named: capset failed: Operation not permitted it gives that error but named process starts... |
