Here's what I've done:

---START---
$TTL 86400

domain.net. IN SOA wildfire.domain.net. root.domain.net. (
2004051000; DNS Zone Serial Number
14400 ; Refresh
900 ; Retry
604800 ; Expire
3600 ) ; Minimum

domain.net. IN NS wildfire.domain.net.

; Localhost lookup
localhost.domain.net. IN A 127.0.0.1

; **** Special Information Records

; Level 2 Domain Location Information
domain.net. IN LOC 38 15 45.600 N 121 55 39.000 W 19

; Level 2 Domain Text Data
domain.net. IN TXT "v=spf1 a:wildfire.domain.net -all"

; Zone Data for SubNET 192.168.0.0/255.255.255.0
$INCLUDE /etc/namedb/zone/db-name.192-168-0-0.domain.net

; Zone Data for SubNET 10.0.0.0/255.255.255.0
$INCLUDE /etc/namedb/zone/db-name.10-0-0-0.domain.net
---END---

As you can see, I've broken my main zone file into subfiles based on the
IP address being used. Although I have never used such a large zone
file before, you may want to do what someone else here suggested and
that would be to break up your zone files by subdomains, and do
staggered and incremental updates. With a zone file containing greater
than 2,000,000 entries, that much data is going to take some time to
process no matter what method you use.
