Deleting All Zone RR's

Currently utilizing bind-9 on the FC2 platform.

How does one delete ALL resource records form a zone?

Wish to do "house cleaning" on a dhcp accessable zone utilized by Win2K/XP
clients.

I attempted both update delete <zone> and update delete <zone> <type> from
nsupdate to no avail.
